I was worried about getting a charger that wouldn't work for our particular laptop. This was a perfect match. The laptop stays charged as if we were using the manufacturer's charger. Having this second one let's us take the laptop with us on the go while leaving the other charger hooked up behind all the cords where we keep the laptop at home.
