I was hesitant about purchasing a replacement battery from someone other than Dell because I had purchased a battery from a local company only to have my laptop give me an error message about the battery not being a Dell product and that it would not be charged. However, this battery worked well from the time I got it and I've not had any problems with it. Glad I took the chance and saved about $50 over the prices Dell charges for a replacement batttery.
