HP Pavilion DV6 Laptop Battery 4400mAh

The battery for my HP DV6 had died after a little over a year after its purchase, so I needed a replacement. I was not looking forward to dishing out more than $80 for a battery at hp official store; so as usual, I came to google to search for a compatible replacement at a reasonable price. I came across this one and was a bit skeptical at first, after having read some good and bad reviews, in regards to its compatibility and its 'fit'. As a student, the need for a battery was urgent; so I took a chance on this one due to the fact that the price was a fraction of that of its competitors. I recieved the Battery about 2 days later, and was anxious to find out if it would be a perfect fit, and if it will work as advertised. I wasted no time in replacing the old battery in order to test its capabilities. After a few months of having it, I am glad that i took a chance and made this purchase it works better than the original; it holds its charge for what seems to be 50-75% longer than the original. I constantly have music playing while browsing the web/while conducting research, and the battery lasts well over an hour and a half to two hours without needing a recharge. Its the same size as the original, so needless to say it fits perfect. The only Con is that this battery seems to take a bit longer to fully charge, than the original battery(40-60 minutes of charging, to achieve 100% battery life) however, thats not a problem for me at all.
